Please don't peek at the date I published my last post- it's much to embarrassing for me that so much time has passed!

I'm happy to report that I have been very busy on the Quiet Conversations front, we have so many new QC community members making HUGE differences in creating or enhancing meaningful connection with their loved ones through journaling together in their families. I've also made HUGE advances in my technological skills! A whole new world has opened up for me and I'm learning and implementing things I never thought possible.

It's a really good thing that my family believes so strongly in our QC Journal Kits, because lately that is exactly how we have been staying in touch with each other... which brings me to an important topic:

Our journal entries don't always have to be deep, life altering discussions. Sometimes they can be similar to what I wrote to my husband the other day.... "miss you!" Or what my son wrote in our journal yesterday, "Need food! Hungry family!" That entry made me laugh out loud and put a smile on my face for the rest of the day whenever I thought of it- that is, until I realized I didn't have anything to make for dinner and HAD to go grocery shopping!

My point is this, sometimes it's not necessarily what we are writing, but that we are writing SOMETHING! Sometimes I lay in bed at night and realize that I physically saw my daughter for a total of probably one hour during that day, but we are still close and connected and I know exactly what's going on in her life and how she feels about it because we have a constant dialogue going back and forth between us. Same for my son and husband...

Let's face it, life is busy for all of us. We may not be able to spend lot's of time together in the physical sense, but we can still stay close and connected through our QC Journal Kits. So just remember, keep on writing! :) Kim
